How to Fix OpenGL Error: 1282 (Invalid Operation) on Minecraft?

Fix 1: Download the OpenGL32.dll File Manually

It’s possible to get OpenGL error 1282 if the opengl32.dll file isn’t present in the Minecraft folder. In that case, you can try manually downloading and copying it to the folder. As many Minecraft players have relied on this workaround to fix the aforementioned issue you can consider giving it a try to see if it works for you.

  • Click on the Windows button and select Settings.
  • Click on System> About and note down the System type of your computer.

  • Paste the opengl32.dll file to the Bin folder.
